On April 8th, at MGM Music Hall Fenway, the band Ripe, who originate from Copenhagen, took the stage.
The band is known for their eclectic melodies that are reminiscent of 80s' metal music and 90s' heavy rock, while still encompassing the current nature of today's versatile genre-bending. The group recently released their album Bright Blues which is a multi-faceted project filled with nothing good vibes and great rhythms. This album would also mark the Ripe's first release after signing to a noteworthy indie record label Glassnote Records.
Bright Blues has garnered 65 million+ streams on Spotify and the band has been able to lock in gigs at major festivals such as Bonnaroo, Firefly, SweetWater, and Bottleorck as well as sell out venues on their headlining tour at acclaimed venues like House of Blues Boston and Brooklyn Steel.
